Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Syntropy Labs operates GEO Agent at seoagent.syntropylabs.ai. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. Information We Collect

• Account data: email address, name (from Google OAuth or direct registration), hashed password.
• Audit data: URLs you submit for auditing, audit results, GEO scores, and associated SERP data.
• Payment data: transaction IDs and payment status via Razorpay. We do not store card numbers or CVV — Razorpay handles PCI compliance.
• Usage data: server logs including IP address, browser, and request timestamps for security and debugging purposes.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To authenticate you and manage your account.
• To run audits on URLs you submit and return results to you.
• To process payments and verify audit credits.
• To send transactional emails (password reset, audit completion).
• To improve the Service and debug issues.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your audit data for advertising.

4. Third-Party Services

• Razorpay — payment processing (subject to Razorpay Privacy Policy).
• Google OAuth — optional sign-in (subject to Google Privacy Policy).
• Anthropic / OpenAI / Google / xAI / Perplexity — AI query processing. URLs and queries may be sent to these services as part of the audit. We do not send personally identifiable information beyond what is necessary.
• Google Cloud Storage — PDF and report storage.

5. Data Retention

Audit results are retained for 12 months from creation, after which they are deleted. Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise these rights, email privacy@syntropylabs.ai. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication (JWT token in localStorage). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Security

We use HTTPS for all data in transit, bcrypt/PBKDF2 for password hashing, and JWT for session management. Payments are handled entirely by Razorpay's PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure.
